The light should feel inviting. The colour should feel believable. And the room should still feel like the room you photographed.

I love being a photographer. I’ve lived the beautiful parts and the difficult ones. But after a full day of shooting, another evening chained to my desk was taking too much from the rest of my life.
I’ve had editors on staff. I’ve outsourced. As the market softened and margins tightened, those costs became harder to carry. Doing it myself meant fewer hours with my family, less time to run the business, keep fit, or simply recharge.
I tried other AI tools, too. I wanted speed and a price that made sense, but the photographs still had to look natural. My clients know the difference.
So I built DRKRM for myself, out of necessity. I wanted to lighten the workload and save my evenings. I liked it enough to share it with the photographers who know exactly what those late nights feel like.
My 25 years in commercial photography have taken me across North America, shooting advertising, décor, architecture, magazine covers and portraits. For the last ten of those years, I’ve also been shooting real estate, running a team of 20 and building up more than 25,000 listing shoots.
This work can be a wonderful way to make a living. I built DRKRM because I wanted more room for the living part, too.
May it lighten your workload and speed you on your way.
